Honoring Our Founders
Paul Ryan
Patrick Ryan
“We take great pride in the services we deliver. We take even greater pride in delivering these services expeditiously and with great passion and compassion.”
Founded in 1962 by Pat and Paul Ryan, Ryan Brothers Ambulance (RBA) has been providing patient-centered ambulance services to Madison and surrounding communities for 6 decades.
In the continued spirit of family passion and doing what is right for both industry and community, Founder, Pat Ryan Sr., began to transfer leadership to son’s Erin Ryan and Patrick Ryan nearly twenty years ago. Together, Erin and Patrick grew the organization by developing a solid management team, dedicated employees, building meaningful relationships while keeping a watchful eye on the industry’s technological advancements.
The year 2020 marked the tragic loss of two members of the Ryan Brothers family: Our co-owner Patrick Ryan Jr. and our co-founder Patrick Ryan Sr. For Patrick Sr., what can be said, Founder, Father, and beloved leader. His wisdom and guidance shine through in the things we do every day. Patrick Jr was highly respected nationally for being a leader in the EMS Industry. He served as President for PAAW for several years and was integral in passing legislation for EMS in the State. Patrick’s community involvement reflected his values and passion for diversity, inclusion, and differently-abled. Both men leave behind a legacy of greatness with innumerable contributions to the success of the company. In a family business, one does not move on but instead looks forward by honoring the contributions each has made and commits to working fervently to continue to reflect their legacy and values.
RBA is founded on the family values that have remained unchanged since 1962. What does that mean to you? It means you have someone that treats you like their own family……Ryan Bros Fort Atkinson LLC was established in 2001 as a result of the vision to provide highest quality ALS level 911 services. As recently as 2023, Ryan Brothers Ambulance was chosen to be the 911 ALS provider by our proud partner, the City of Lake Mills, WI. RBA is Wisconsin’s premiere service with eight Southern Wisconsin stations covering three counties. In 2018, RBA invested in building a training an administration building to accommodate their growth. Management (Owners and Managers) is hands on and actively involved in all aspects of the business.
At RBA, we know that every single member of our staff is family, and ultimately the key to our success and client satisfaction. In the past four years, our family has grown nearly 300% with 35% of employees having tenure of 5-29 years. We look forward to you joining our growing family!
Thank You.
